Kwara First Lady Urge KWACCIMA To Evolve Strategies That Will Promote Trade And Enterprise
Wherever there is viable commercial activities, it helps the Government in improving Internally Generated Revenue- Dr. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq.
The First Lady of Kwara State Dr. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq has reaffirmed the need to create enabling environment to make commerce and commercial activities thrive as this would further improve the Internally Generated Revenue in the State.
Her Excellency made this remark when the Kwara State Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) led by its President Dr. Ahmed Adeoye Raji paid Her Excellency a courtesy call in Ilorin on Monday 21st of January 2020.
While speaking, Dr. Raji explained that the visit is sequel to the previous visit to Her Excellency on the preparation towards the inauguration of the NACCIMA Business women Group (NAWOG), Kwara State Chapter. He used the opportunity of the visit to appreciate Her Excellency's support and benevolence towards the preparation of the event.
Speaking further Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq expressed delight over the meeting with the executive members of KWACCIMA. and charged the KWACCIMA team to own and create new initiatives that will promote commerce, agriculture, mines and enterprise in the state.
Dr. Olufolake gave highlights on the African free trade zone agreement and how goods from Kwara State can be exported to other parts of Africa.
Other members of the KWACCIMA team included Hajia Sururah Zubair- NAWOG Coordinator, Arundel Bola Elizabeth- Assistant State Coordinator NAWOG, Prince Dr. Fagbemi and Evangelist Biodun Afolabi.
