Kwara First Lady Raises Hope For Parents Of Triplets

 The Wife of the Kwara State Governor, Mrs. Olufolake AbdulRazaq yesterday donated some food items and cash to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Abdulazeez Igbamidare Taiye, being a part of her charitable contributions to reposition the lives of poverty-striken citizens.

The plight of Abdulazeez's family and their battle for survival followed the birth of their gifted triplets nine months ago.This was in addition to the two children earlier blessed. No sooner Her Excellency's attention was brought to the development than she rendered her phylanthropism towards mitigating the hardship and raising their hope for a better future.

Presenting the items, Mrs. Abdulrazaq who lifted the spirit of the family appealed to them to see the babies as nothing but a gift. She said, procreation is achieved only by God's grace and that it is He who gives man a child irrespective of the quality, frequency and number.

Mrs. Abdulrazaq, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Alh. Abdulganiyu Olarewaju Opeloyeru, enjoined the needy not to relent on their parenting roles of giving the children a proper upkeep, quality education and other life expectancies.

" These babies are blessings from God, never blame Him for extending such to your family please. Things will soon take shape in your family. They need your love, care and all supports. Give them, and they will pay you back when they grow up and turn out successful in life", She charged.

She noted that it is natural that the donated items cannot satisfy their entire needs, asking them to see it from the point of showing them passion and encouragement, as they champion the task of nurturing the fruit of the womb.

While reiterating the steadfastness of the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-Led administration to address the variety of socio-economic challenges of the less-privileged which were inherited from the previous governments, she called for more patience, understanding and  support of all and sundry in the state.
