Darkness And Light Cannot Co-habit, I'm Still In APC - Chief Akogun Iyiola

If you could remember that yesterday on the 23rd of December, 2018 a publication was going viral on social media concerning Factional emergence in Kwara State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which was allegedly said to be led by Chief Akogun Iyiola.

When Chief Akogun was contacted by this medium over the publication here is the response we get;

Re: Factional PDP emerges in Kwara, Fields candidates for Election

Let it be known by all and sundry that I'm not the author of this message and I did not permit anybody to issue it on my behalf. My politics is not dirty. I left PDP on the 1st of August 2018. There is no reason why i should consider the option to go back to that Party, more so as there is thick darkness there. Darkness and light cannot co-habit. Even if the EXCO which i headed was not properly dissolved, let those that I left as members of EXCO continue to fight on. They can do that without me. The general public should disregard the publications as it relates to me.

I appreciate those that speak for me before I had the opportunity of this response. I'm too visible around and for long and my political behaviour should be predictable on the point of integrity and character. For those that say I cannot do it, i say thank you all. I shall strive always not to defeat the expectations of those that have invested their trust in me. I'm a solid member of APC and I indeed believe in the leadership of the Party especially, President Muhammadu Buhari.

AKOGUN IYIOLA OYEDEPO.
