Kwara APC To Commence Membership Registration

The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will commence membership registration across the 193 wards making up the state tomorrow, Thursday 7th September, 2018.

According to a statement issued by the party chairman, Hon. Bashir Bolarinwa said, the exercise will be done at the polling unit level thereby bringing the materials close to the people at the grassroots.

Bolarinwa said that, all ward chairmen and secretaries of the party in the state will converge on the party secretariat at 11am today.

The APC chairman warned all agents of destabilization in the state, to stay away from the secretariat and points of registration.

"We are aware that clandestine moves are on, to infiltrate our midst through the vice chairmen of the opposition party in the state to act as chairmen of APC in various wards and local government areas in an attempt to hijack the exercise.

"We are by this release and through other communications alerting our members to be on guard and resist these saboteurs. The security agents must take note of this too. We remain law abiding citizens of this country but we will not allow saboteurs to destroy our houses." Bolarinwa said.
