Disclaimer: Ex-Kwara Guber Candidate Declares Support For Yaman Ambition

We, the Omotosure Support Group receive with shock a purported statement in circulation credited to one Hon. Olabode Towoju. Part of which reads: "Haven accepted the fact that Kwara Central and South senatorial districts respectively have had more than enough in the current dispensation by governing the state for 20 years (1999-2019), Dr. Mike Omotosho has directed all his coordinators across the state to join the Yaman Support Group to further boost his chances. He has also donated some vehicles to be branded for Yaman's campaign project as well as provide more logistics yet to come." This is false, cheap and misleading. To us, it is an attempt to seek cheap popularity by bringing the good name of Dr. Mike Omotosho into this charade.

It is pertinent to refute this claim and place it on record that there was no time that our distinguished candidate, Dr. Mike Omotosho entered into any alliance(s) or signed up to be a part of the quoted statement above. He is still actively in the race to rescue Kwara State from the shackles of the status quo. It is not only belittling to peddle such propagandist campaigns, this can be adduced to the figment of imagination of the author of the said press statement.

We are aware that the journey ahead is not going to be an easy ride. However, we have total confidence in the leadership prowess of Dr. Mike Omotosho to deliver the dividend of democracy to the good people of Kwara. It is on this premise that we, the Omotosure Support Group will continue to engage Dr. Mike Omotosho to consider re-entering the ring in the battle to rescue and place Kwara among the committee of developed States. This cause, we shall promulgate, continuously.

Henceforth, we advise that those who do not mean well for Kwara should immediately desist from campaign of calumny and the use of the instruments of derogatory propaganda against our Governorship candidate - Dr. Mike Omotosho.

We shall not be deterred. We shall not be cowed. We shall not relent. Omotosure is the right person and the only Sure Alternative to lead Kwarans to the promise land.
