The people of Offa in a press statement delivered by Prince Femi Whyte react to the sponsored rally by politicians in Offa which they described as shameless conscienceless rally.

Offa Reacts To The Sponsored Rally By Politicians In Offa

In defence of the integrity of Offa community, you will recall that on the 5th of April, 2018,daredevil robbers attacked Offa community and went on a shooting spree which led to the death of Nine Police officers, two pregnant women and scores of innocent lives.

The community was thrown into mourning as a result of this dastard act. Up till now the wound inflicted on the community is yet heal. The economic activities of the community were also adversely affected as banks remained closed. And our people are being subjected to travelling to other towns before they could access money.

Succor however came by the proactive steps of taken by the Federal Government through the I.G. who quickly deployed mobile policemen, special anti-robbery squad and crack detectives in Offa.

Due to the unrelating efforts of the Nigerian Police under the able leadership of the I.G. Idris, these miscreants were napped to the relieve and confidence of not only Offa people but the general of Nigerians.

In the course of the police investigation, some top politicians were mentioned to be the remotely connected to the robbery incidence in Offa. But to our dismay and sadness these politicians mobilized some political jobbers to protest in their favour to jeopardize the ongoing investigation by the Nigerian police.

It is pertinent to state here without any ambiguity that the entire Offa people are totally against the shameless and conscienceless rally that took place in Offa yesterday.

We want to reassure the Nigerian police that all well meaning sons and daughters of Offa are solidly behind the steps being taken by the Federal Government and the Nigerian police to get to the root of the matter.

And that we completely in its entirety dissociation ourselves from the sponsored rally.
The souls of the victims of the dastard act and heinous crime visited on Offa peopl are crying for Justice.

In conclusion, we are waiting for justice to be done.
In Offa we cherish Justice, equity and fairness which are our hallmarks.
