MM Dissociate Self From Leading OPC To Shutdown APC Secretariat

Hon. Mushood Mustapha who was on the news flying around early today that he led the team of Local Vigilante group to shutdown Alanamu APC ward Secretariat have dissociate himself from the news with a press release through his Media aide Abdulazeez Kayode.

LEAVE MM OUT OF THE APC CRISIS IN ALANAMU

Hon. MM's pedigree is well known in Kwara Political arena and he is not someone who will descend so low to spark up crisis in a party he has supported up till this point.

Aside from being the Coordinator  of the Kwara state chapter of the Buhari/Osinbajo campaign Organisation  in 2015, Hon. MM is also a former member of the National Assembly .

Therefore, linking him with APC crisis in Alanamu ward is an insult on his personality and that is totally unacceptable.

The crisis in Alanamu is between two splinter groups of the Excos in the ward who are laying claim to the ownership of the ward secretariat.

As a means of forestalling violence, the DPO of C Division directed that the secretariat be shut temporarily pending when all issues will be resolved.

For avoidance of doubt, Hon. MM spent his weekend with his family in Abuja and he has not been to Ilorin for over two weeks. Anyone who has a contrary opinion  should speak out and back it up with evidence.

Arising from the foregoing therefore, I want to categorically state that the news trending online that Hon. MM led an OPC team to shut down the APC secretariat is false, baseless and misleading.
