Baboko, Agaka Cultist Clash in Details

After few hours of cultist clash between Baboko and Agaka area of ilorin, Kwarareporters got the press release of Agaka community through the community secretary, Dauda Garuba Ajia.

"The Agaka Community has read and heard the above news item. We the people of Agaka community wants to put the record right.

The suspected cultist clash is between  Baboko and Agaka Community. The Youths of the Baboko community first lunched an attack on our community and forcefully collected phones, money and other valuables  on gun point from peace loving people of Agaka and most of  the cases was reported at C division Oja Oba.

They shot sporadically and dare anybody bold enough to come out to face superior fire arms and matchets they were armed with,the attack lasted for hours between 11pm and 1am.

The Agaka community got in touch with security agencies for protection. We thank all the security operatives for coming to our aid.

Our prayer is that the two communities that have been harmoniously for centuries will not become enemies over unholy acts.

We are appealing to the youths of both communities to give peace a chance. Any body caught fomenting trouble will be handed over to security agents.
